INTRODUCTION

vSlab is a precast prefabricated insulation concrete slab. It is used on reinforced concrete flat roofs as a thermal insulation and sound isolation layer. It also plays the role as a protection screed layer for waterproofing membrane of inverted-roof-system.

VSLAB PAVER

Aside from the vSlab (With Blue Foam), Vodapruf has also manufactured a “vSlab Paver”. It is a form of ferro cement slab that is used as an insulative slab for external application. It has a 4-leg frame underneath each paver, like a pedestal. A Paver has the strength to withstand weight and human traffic.

TECHNICAL ADVANTAGES

It has an immediate-open-to-traffic curing time with a high productivity rate of 125m2/man/day. It is a single layer installation as compared to some industrial method of a 3-layer method such as Cast-in-Situ Panels. Therefore, producing a consistent quality-finishing.

COMPARISON TABLE

vPanel has a wide range of thickness that caters to different specification and technical requirements, from 75mm thick to 200mm thick. The most commonly lightweight precast wall panel used are 75mm thick and 100mm thick. Below is a comparison table between the two most common thickness used in the construction industry. Vodapruf is working towards a new development in 25mm thick, 50mm thick and 250mm thick in the near future with test reports in the midst of developing and finalizing.
