INTRODUCTION
Lightherm is a lightweight aggregate specially treated with our patented VODAPRUF additive. Lightherm when mixed with cement, becomes a lightweight screed (Lightherm Screed) with a density of only 250kg/m³. It has achieved thermal conductivity as low as 0.067 W/mk. Lightherm has also acquired COC (Certificate of Conformity) issued by TÜV SÜD PSB Singapore. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications. This solves and provides solution on the floating issue due to buoyancy, which guarantees well-blend and no other added additives.
WAYS OF APPLICATION
Lightherm Screed is used for its thermal insulation, acoustic insulation and lightweight properties. Lightherm Screed is a form of lightweight aggregate in replacement of conventtional screed. It is used for its thermal insulation, acoustic insulation and lightweight properties with a density of only 250kg/m3. Vodapruf's range of density goes from 250kg/m3 to 1950kg/m3.

PREPARATION OF LIGHTHERM SCREED 250kg/m³
Based on density of 250kg/m3 to achieve 1m³ volume, it would require 2 bags of 500L Lightherm + 5 bags of 50kg cement + 100-120L of water. Lastly, a 25mm-50mm thick cement sand screed is required to be applied on top of Lightherm screed for the purpose of evenly distributing the load. The thickness of cement/sand screed depends on application. 250kg/m³

1) Always quantify Lightherm Aggregate by volume and not by weight

2) Water over-dosage will cause seggregation

There are three types of mixing method for lightweight aggregate (Lightherm Screed) depending on site condition and clients' requirement.

TECHNICAL TEST REPORT
Lightherm has also acquired certification test reports such as Non-Combustibility, Certificate of Conformity, Thermal Conductivity, Toxicity, Fire Classification, Fire Rating and Compressive Strength. It is also in line with SCDF Circular on fire safety requirements for use of plastic in building construction.
